Big fan of this proposal.
Maybe Turnbridge will turn out to be the Kane Realty of downtown?
I think that my favorite part is the 4 stall standalone retail. It gives me Depot vibes.
Hand the RUSBUS site over to tunbridge right now!!!
This is so sick. Love the design of the tower, especially the arches near top.
Also, it’s cool to see them leave a cutout for the parking lot just south of the tower. Almost setting up a phase 2…
I really hope that they don’t significantly backtrack on this proposed design like they did with the Highline. The Highline’s updated design looks nothing like the Creamery building, that it was once supposed to resemble.
I really hope that they use a similar modular design and construction technique as the ones used for the Maeve and City Hall. I assume that doing that may be more cost effective?
I’m curious to see how this impacts One Nash condo pre-sales as the building is roughly 100’ away. For example this east facing unit would be facing heavily into the build. @John what is your thoughts:
The stats:
20 floors (+ extra lower floor at Commerce Pl elev)
220 units (160 1-br, 58 2-br, 2 3-br)
217-ft tall
257 parking spaces
~370k gross sq ft
~20,600 retail sq ft
6th floor east-facing amenity room
20th floor east-facing pool deck
Kinda seems like they are charging forward here. We have so many projects at this stage it would be incredible to see a few break ground.
Solid addition. I’ll take 20 more plz.
I love all of the retail on Commerce! That should really help that little cut through come alive!
Perfect for that location
Thats owned by Empire so nothing will ever get built there. But for fun, an exact copy of the Creamery residential tower would fit there perfectly.
Once upon a time, Empire wanted to build a 7-10 story apartment building on the parking lot they own a bit further down Dawson, but without any included parking, so it was shot down…
…I bet they’d get it approved, now, however…
My retail pipe dream: 2-story Primark or Muji or Uniqlo store (“C-208 Retail” Space).
