So I thought it was the ugly brick building to the right being allowed to remain, but I hadn’t paid attention to the addresses closely. I guess it’s slightly better that the one remaining is better looking, but yeah, it’s gonna be pretty awkward. I guess this is what happens when one owner just doesn’t want to sell. ---

So glad to hear about this one. It’s all CASA owned and per the rezoning application “CASA plans to redevelop the properties into a higher density, mixed-income development with both affordable and market rate units.” What the city needs!! ---

Rezoning for 20 stories here passed. No immediate plans, but the owner has been approached about a hotel and also apartments.
