Yeah I mean I understand where you’re coming from though - we haven’t had a crane even _this_ tall in Raleigh in decades, so just seeing this as it is looks crazy. Can you believe it will get _even taller_ ??? ---

Given this tower’s relatively small footprint, it’s going to look even taller with its height to width ratio. ---

My terrible attempt at trying to represent the completed height. It’s going to be a tall one. ![IMG_0857](https://d3tmycllq5yp1y.cloudfront.net/original/3X/0/b/0b97beadd810ceb0fd569698664991186e6179f9.jpeg) ---

I didn’t remember this being renamed Cortland. ![20261011_170128](https://d3tmycllq5yp1y.cloudfront.net/original/3X/0/e/0eb077d0eb1044951e6ffa91e338061f773b7936.jpeg) Edit: after eliciting the customary facepalm reaction from StreetView, I went back and searched on here. Apparently it was renamed back in February 2025. Oddly enough, this riveting detail didn’t sear itself into my brain, but now I’ll remember forever. 😊 ---

Maybe John should take it. I hear he likes the loud party scene, so he’ll be right in the middle of it all! ---

At this pace, it looks like it could top out by February unless things slow down significantly. I’m counting 25 floors so far! ---
