Well here’s where it ended up

I’m guessing it’s stuff for the amenity space on the top of the deck.

In other news, the deck crane is down and being disassembled:

Last week, the crane got packed up and removed, the dirt pile got removed, the barricades got put away.

And then yesterday they set up another crane. Why not?

Cranes up, cranes down, cranes up again……

Is it time for the big crane to come down? That may be the “helper crane” to deconstruct the tower crane.

You are correct, sir. Big Red Crane is coming down.

Thank you for the awesome pictures! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
The second one (on the bottom) remind me of the old building used from General Hospital Soap Opera.

Is there a reason developers/builders don’t create larger outdoor spaces? The ones here, on an otherwise great building, look basically useless.
Or I am in a minority wanting my own real porch, patio or deck?**

I feel the same way. The number of units with balconies in the new buildings seems paltry. I’m sure it has to do with the bottom line.

There is definitely some resemblance. LOL.

New website advertising the apartments named Maeve? Says Spring 2025 opening, which is kinda surprising being almost 1 year away, but it is a lot of units.

I want to tour that 20th story rooftop lounge. Also want to inquire about a Zipline option to/from La Terrazza.

I believe the plan is for the Dix Park Gondolas to stop at La Terrazza/Dillon and the awfully named Maeve, on its way to Dix via The Rockaway. At least according to my master plan. Let’s hope they rethink this name.

It’s a beautiful Irish girl’s name but wow does it not match this building’s vibe at all

I got a construction tour of this building yesterday evening. There is actually a good bit of outdoor space, but it is mostly on the 7th floor of the parking deck. Large pool with an outdoor lounging area and grills.

We also went all the way to the top which has fantastic views of DTR. (Riding up the construction elevator is not for the faint of heart).

While the outside has gone up quickly, there is still a LOT of work to do inside, so I’m not surprised it is still several months from completion. They said they are hoping for move-ins starting in Feb 2025. They did have one sample unit completed on the second floor and it looked nice.

I’m so glad that the constant negativity in these comments about every design of every tower never has any real life impact.

Where would Raleigh be today without the investment of these entities that actually have the capital to change the skyline?

I might stand alone on this, but I really like the design and style of the interior and exterior of this building. Its giving high class.
