Yes, Nahavo will be extended all the way to church at north hills street, but only when those old apartments are redeveloped. That will in turn connect The Exchange and NHE and will also EVENTUALLY connect to Barrett Dr across the beltine. Also to and extent Hardimont will handle some traffic, especially once it is extended across the albans. So there will some alternatives to St Albans, but not immediately.
Iâm at North Hills right now shopping, Im on the Lassiter Mill Rd. Side, after leaving Target, I took this picâŚwoah, they are putting this project up quick.
Quick, indeed - were you drifting around that bend???
Haha! Nope. In the back of a Lyft on my way downtown for dinner. Had to be quick with the phone!
This may have been shared already but saw this video of the proposed development on Hub RTPâs website
Haha I just wrote up a post about all of the activity up that way and missed the crane at The Exchange! DOH!
This post is also the first time I have stepped in front of the camera. I hope you all enjoy. As always, I am wide open to feedback on improving the writing/photos/videos.
I mean feel free to add my pic if it fits you needs (or donât, I wonât be offended lol).
Great write up detailing and summarizing all the projects, and the progress photos and mapped out locations is very helpful.
Thank you! My photo actually shows the crane (very tiny), but I guess I just didnât take good notes when I was driving aroundâŚ
How many stories will it have
Angled-glass building 20-stories, while it looks like the other one is topped out (?)
EDIT: I was wrong, ignore this!
Given the state of construction at the moment. The Renaissance North Hills hotel next door is already looking really outdated. I hope they redevelop the old part of North Hills next.
Breaking Newsâ:bangbang:Kane Realty Corp. just announced plans for a 6,000-square-foot food and beverage destination for its North Hills Innovation District. The freestanding F&B building (as yet named, but will be local) will feature an extensive outdoor seating area, with construction slated to begin next summer for a summer 2024 completion.â
So, is that a food hall? Or based on their definition a âfood and beverageâ hall? Interesting that itâs freestanding as that doesnât really add to density, but looks cool and Iâm sure will be a nice add in the area.
It was in the original plan for NHID but I thought it was supposed to be 2 stories, looks like that has changed.
Iâm okay with it being freestanding if its outdoor space is a connector space among a greater community of buildings. It could really activate an outdoor space like no other in the greater North Hills district.
