This creates good connectivity (mostly pedestrian & bike-friendly) from Blue Ridge all the way to Dan Allen without having to use either Western or Hillsborough.

Good place for an updated connection… but I loved that tunnel.

I actually never knew about this quirky tunnel, and the post office by there is my local branch. I’ve been very close to it so many times without realizing. I guess I should at least check out the bridge now.

Google Maps never routed people through it, so it was my favorite way to sneak around Hillsborough St traffic on football game days.
