Yeah, I haven’t commented in a while. Makes sense…
They’ll do comic sans next time. Be careful what you wish for.
Is the ground-floor retail? Any idea what’s going in there?
I’d much prefer Ransom Note
If it actually is retail, probably a nail salon, a yoga studio, or a tea with chunks shop.
you know you can get it without the chunks, right?
I believe the term is “Juliet balcony”. Sounds romantic! Just don’t tell them how that story ends.
It’s a really sad result considering the initial concepts that were floated for this site. Our only hope is that a much better building will be built to its immediate west on the rest of that site.

You could literally copy and paste this comment on the majority of projects in DTR
Certainly true for the 5 over 1 buildings.
I like that the active uses – leasing office, a coworking space, and fitness center – are pushed to the street. While not publicly accessible, these spaces can be reconfigured for businesses in the future.
Aesthetically, I’m not a fan of the Juliet balconies, but I prefer it to none at all. I agree with other commenters, that the lack of “design” applied to the facade is a travesty.
Say what you want about the Mira apartments appearance, but they have some decent views of downtown (and you can’t see the Mira from inside it).
Do they have a rooftop bar?
take a nice long stroll in the AF…thou holy AF. who AF can afford the more exalted AF stuff?
