These are the kind of folks that, sorry to say, simply cannot ever be “reformed” and integrated back into society, and unfortunately should just be permanently locked up - for their own good and especially for the good of every, innocent bystander they could potentially cause harm to.

Sadly this is the 
show that I expect to happen, and at the “right” time.
I’m kind of surprised this didn’t explode in discussion today either on here or on Reddit.
I’m not sure if this was ever tried for crime specifically, but I remember seeing different ads or campaigns about different things like “Click It or Ticket” and even ones from when I lived in California of “Don’t trash California”.
Although it might seem clear to plenty of people that fighting isn’t worth it, I am pretty sure that there are TONS of people who actually don’t sit and think this way. I think a lot of people could benefit from seeing different ads that aim against different things such as avoiding fighting, road rage, and similar topics. I think these definitely have effects on people. I know I used to be a person who never really thought about the “end goal” and instead only thought about the “immediate” actions.
A couple of examples of old ads. Need to add the “h” at the beginning. I didn’t want to have the previews show (although I guess I could add them in if preferred) and make the post super big due to the videos. I think this is something the city could do locally in promoting.

The Legislature makes it legal to carry weapons just about anywhere anytime and then we all are surprised when somebody gets shot.

Yea that’s usually the culprit, a legal gunowner just out exercising their 2nd amendment rights.
All of this occurred over the weekend, NONE of them were allowed to be in possession of these and had zero to do with anything the legislature has or hasn’t done. One guy had 3 handguns and several open bottles of liquor on him, that’s insane.

Ah yes, the reoccurring sites, sounds, and events of the downtown bus station that continues to plague the city - with zero resolve. Absolutely ridiculous and the fact that this area isn’t more of a priority with immediate urgency is a failure. Any business in Raleigh that has this many incidents would be shut down. The bus station should be moved.

Stabbing victims just appear out of nowhere apparently.

See John, it happens when you don’t even think it’s happening. Why can’t John have one weekend of happiness?
It’s my fault. I didn’t get up after 1AM and call the city to complain that there was going to be a shooting. 
I think you should just claim to be psychic and call every weekend and report something. Ya know it is gonna happen. So be proactive.
