I never quite realized what a jumble of additions the Department of the Secretary of State building was until I saw that overview of Union Square. Cool stuff!

That’s the new Department of Health and Human Services building off of Blue Ridge, with UNC Rex the white building further to the right.

Funny you say that I was thinking the same thing about watching WTVD Channel 11 news on my Roku the other day seeing the skyline with the crane of the new City Hall in the foreground. I think they use a shot during their weather forecasts.
