@GucciLittlePig told me to meet up at the Big Nut for my tour of downtown. He knows I only get 2 hours of free parking downtown so had to walk around on my own. So that I did up from the Queen City today passing through.

It’s very simple to find a parking spot on the side of the street downtown. I don’t know what all fuss is about. We have so many parking decks right now its nothing. Just pull over and park!

But then I have to pay I like the free 2 hour deck parking on this hot day.

I understand where you’re coming from. I park my car in the Publix parking deck in these conditions. :joy:

Yup… sure did. This is so fking BORING and LAME and unnecessary. Can Raleigh literally not have ANY COLOR??? lmao this just SUCKS

The Revisn Hotel on Boylan is still painted like a 1960s Howard Johnson.

I appreciate any and all color downtown. That’s why - as poorly executed as it is - I can’t totally hate the Platform seafoam green. At least they added SOME color, ffs!!!

At the end of the day, it’s just paint, and that can change over the years as the market and design tastes continue to evolve.

Why do 98% of Raleigh developments think the current design taste is “beige/grey/white ONLY” ??? lol

It’s safe and they’re following our forum developed branding slogan for Raleigh.

“Keep Raleigh Boring” (and earth tones)

No, no, no! You can’t go stealing Cary’s brand!

I think officially Raleigh is khaki and Cary is puddy.

It was hot when I went for a walk, so I stayed in the shade. It was so dark that I could hardly see. Also, as I entered Moore Square, I almost vomited because the towers were destroying the character of City Market, and making the park unbearable.
