It’s amazing what a coat of paint did to those townhomes.
Interesting changes over the years, the black building to right of Red Hat, along from old Durham Life building on other side of Fayetteville street were tallest buildings in Raleigh when I moved in.
Nicer with the obscured top-hat…?
Didn’t really notice the lack of the top hat, I fell into the shades of blue and couldn’t get out.
I think is the best parking DECK hiding of any building in Raleigh.

More so than before, this highlights how much “wasted,” essentially undevelopable land there is inside the wye area. If we could get those Norfolk Southern tracks (left, foreground) out of there, that could help to close up Raleigh’s “gulch” and stitch together Boylan Heights, Hillsborough Street, and the Warehouse District.
