Rather than fully sending this thread off a cliff, I invite you to private message me with your thought process here. I am willing to listen to your perspective, as long as it’s not just hate speech toward a marginalized group.
Racism doesn’t just involve black people and the comma after the word “racism” is a another way of saying “and”. Also, black people are not monoliths and you should know that.
I understand that you want to make a distinction that our experiences are no where near the same with discrimination but both communities are marginalized, sadly and intentionally.
My only response is, facts don’t care who believe them.
Here’s a more credible Instagram video:
Are these posts about Raleigh? I’m not seeing it.
Bro…the brush is dry due to warmer temperatures, more frequent/longer lasting droughts, and general CHANGEs to the CLIMATE in that area…
It should seem so obvious, no?? But you appear to be wasting your time, BoyHowdy has head firmly planted in sand.
It’s always amusing to me that local weather is often seen as most relevant to the topic of climate change. “It’s cold here so the earth must not be warming”, never mind that it’s Summer in other places and they are roasting, or that ice shelves are cleaving from Antarctica.
Here is the current Ice gain and loss graph of artic sea ice from 2012 to 2024 by the University of Colorado Bolder.
A net gain of 24%
Another graph but this is specifically Antartica from 2009 to 2019 showing 5,305 Sq. KM gain.
But back on topic to Raleigh and how this relates. This is definitely from all the large trucks and SUV’s driving around town causing this. This problem would totally go away if everyone just drove an electric vehicle, but not one of those Tesla’s. I heard the owner is stealing everyone’s grandma’s SS number and pillaging their retirement savings.
