Residential Demand in DTR

At the end of the day, the conundrum for the city is that it needs sidewalk traffic that has been lost since the 1-2 punch of the pandemic (seemingly) shifting how more and more people will work going forward, and a state government that’s moved jobs out of the city. A 3rd punch is the fact that the city faces NIMBYism on its edges that works to prevent the city from creating more foot traffic with the number of residents that are going to be necessary to create the demand for local retail services that are accessed by more people by foot.
