There’s about to be alot more too. Most of the new simple diamond exits built for new and expanded freeways are built with roundabouts statewide now.

The Raleigh Street Design Manual theoretically allows fairly narrow streets, i.e., 41’ with two parking lanes:
The big “but…” problem for the city is likely to be fire access. The SDM says a 10’ curb radius is allowed, but the fire marshal won’t approve anything less than 28’.
