Things To Do in Downtown Raleigh

The powerhouse deck behind Tobacco road would be a possibility. There’s only a few large enough as well as flat enough.

I have a +1 available to this evening’s “Balls vs Cancer” event at The Rialto. I got the tickets free through the Ovies & Giglio podcast (guest list from Joe Ovies). In any case, this ticketed event is to raise money for testicular cancer and is a night of comedy and sports talk with the Sklar brothers headlining with Ovies & Giglio. In any case, they have raised a lot of money but needed seat fillers for the actual event. This is how I got the tickets for free.
That said, I don’t have a +1 to fill the other seat. If anyone wants to go, just unicast me. The first to claim it can go for free. It probably helps if you are a sports fan and enjoy live comedy, meaning that you will more likely enjoy the evening/event.

I played tourist tonight and went on a Raleigh Ghost Tour. The group had around 40 people in it! Nice stories along the tour, I recommend it if you like local history.

My daughter and I did it twice with Tricia and once at NC State over the past few years. I highly recommend both Tricia and NCSU’s tours. They were a lot of fun, but the NCSU one was stretching with some of their stories

My wife and her friends do one of these every year and always have a good time. Too spooky for me though…

During the photo walk yesterday, we saw these fun things riding around. I really hope this kind of thing takes off!

Bonus is that it prepares everyone for when we are in our 80s and need a scooter.

Interesting they are marketing a Haunted Cocktail Rydable tour.

What could possibly go wrong?

We were at Lazy Daze in DT Cary, so we weren’t that sad. But damn we could’ve squeezed both in! I blame the :penguin: for not remembering.

I’m in my 30s and i’d like to inquire about the rules for generally cruising on one of these day-to-day
