I’d say they could walk, but… :upside_down_face:

Ha ha. Yeah maybe if they live close by.

Good to know about the free parking at the Platform

A couple of shots of the newly cleared phase 2.

Are they really just going to call it Phase II?

Looks like we’re in for more white siding and general mishmash of exterior materials.

At least they phased out that seafoam

More residential has been built or being built in last 2 years than has ever existed in all of Downtown. It’s mind blowing

Thank goodness they blocked the skinny tower. This is so much better and more neighborly :upside_down_face:

Did they give up? Looks like a ghost town, and all the equipment is gone.

They had told me they wouldn’t be starting Phase 2 till Spring/Summer.

The reflections off of the white siding are too bright for them to work.

People in phase 1 are complaining about views and shadows.

Some possible new activity coming to Dupont:

The warehouse next to Boulted at 324 Dupont (purchased by Raleigh Denim owners in 2021) looks to be under contract to sell at an asking price of $2.6 mil. I’m curious to see who is purchasing and what their plans are.

Also, from the Boylan Heights FB group, a yoga instructor is crowdfunding to open a studio in one of the Dupont spaces in Platform.

A small scale multifamily housing complex (3-5 stories, minimum retail) would fit perfectly on that lot.

New here, sorry if this was already covered but does anyone have a scoop on the ground floor retail spaces in platform? I think at least one is designated for a restaurant/bar.

Hi and welcome. Yes, the large front left space is definitely a possible restaurant space, and possibly the other large space on the front right, too. The last I heard a few months ago was that there were no commitments but supposedly a German restaurant was looking.

The spaces on Dupont are flexible in size, and I know someone is trying to crowdfund a yoga studio in one of the spots.

The West End now has it’s own Instagram account. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
And the space to the left of Boulted is definitely a Pilates studio. The machines are set up so I’d guess they’re not far from opening.
