Since this went 3 days, here’s a new pic!
I wanted to guess that it was the back bar of the old Berkeley, but the photos in my phone don’t line up.

I suspect that this one my be challenging.
Hint: while this is obviously the back of somewhere, it’s not uncommon for folks to be either walking or driving in the back of the building. In fact, I came upon it at the end of an alley that I was walking.

It’s the back of a landmark and iconic place.

Nope. Remember, the area in question is quite active and one doesn’t necessarily have to sneak to get back there.
For the next hint: There’s a small surface parking lot there.

It’s at the intersection of 2 named alleys that have streetview on Google Maps.
