Once that is done, poof!, Raleigh has a Beltline trail system. Honestly we already have one but those 2 spots make it more manageable. Market the shit out of it just like Atlanta and Greenville.

Noticed that Cary’s website has a page about the Walnut Creek greenway https://www.carync.gov/recreation-enjoyment/parks-greenways-environment/greenways/walnut-creek-greenway This would go from downtown Cary behind Fenton and Cary Towne Center, then along I-40 to South Hills Mall.
