NC lost quite a few movie productions to GA after HB2 (bathroom bill). It almost tanked the film industry in the state.
This is not about Raleigh or Triangle only, but CBS 60 minutes tonight had an segment with FED Charmian (I think thatâs who he was) who said the US economy is already entering a boom growth period this year with expected growth between 6-7% and continuing into 2022 before growth rate slowing down. This would seem to be very good for places like Raleigh, especially when places like NY are not going to take part. This is not by just one factor but a number of things happening at same time. Iâm guessing this interview will be on YouTube in the next few days.
Even during the Pandemic, I think in several factors Raleigh was one of the top 3 growing regions.
People came here in droves - including me. Weâre setting up for a good year.
The only thing that can get in the way of Raleigh is Raleigh.
Keep Raleigh Boring

That ainât gonna cut it. I want to see RUS Bus and SH3 out of the ground soon. Those two projects will have the most impact given that they build on two lively districts. Then again, I wouldnât mind a disruptive few years of a bunch of projects happening simultaneously.
Here is a summary report on 60 min segment, but leaves out a lot of details on projections and adds whining from Polassie.

Though, I am still at a loss as to the reason why that phrase is so offensive.

Different story for a different time and place.
But back on topic, does anyone know our occupancy rates among our big buildings here?
If I was, I wouldâve locked you up long ago and thrown away the key.
