Wow that’s great last I heard, Atlanta was around 60! So any new big entries to the market will mean they’ll need to build.

No not really. Hence my silliness. Sorry…:innocent:

NC film industry used to be the 3rd largest behind California and NY. The film studios in Wilmington are still very well equipped and waiting for a comeback.

Maybe GA is ready to yield the industry to us again?

I’m not dumb, I know you’re talking about me.

Any shows filmed here besides love it or list it?

In fact, you can clearly see PNC Tower in one shot! Was wild to see in the theater here in Raleigh.

Not a show, but the 2018 Halloween sequel/reboot and the upcoming Halloween Kills both filmed in Wilmington

Yep. There were even scenes filmed downtown, including one at the old Finch’s Diner: may it rest in peace.

There are a number of tv series and movies being filmed in NC at present and in the last year or so. Filmnc.com gives an update. Of course before the film commission’s budget was slashed in the last administration we were home to One Tree Hill, Dawson’s Creek, Homeland, Dirty Dancing, Bull Durham, and my all time favorite The Last of the Mohicans, just to name a few. I think the financial incentives are coming back and hopefully the film industry will resume. It is a definite financial boost for the state.
