We are on the same page. What is the deal with the names of these buildings and such? I am just not a fan. Give me something I can spell and pronounce. I am not sure if this is a German place (no offense to the Germans) or a place to take your dog for grooming (no offense to dogs)
The (Dutch) woonerf may not dance off the tongue but the approach to human scale development is worth singing aboutā¦Think the Brits call these āhome zonesā.
Excited to see this area evolve.
Fingers crossed the Creamery gets going in 2025 and that gets Turnbridge some momentum for the tower over here in 2030 or soā¦
Agreed. I do like what is happening. I will take the project and be happy. The name be damned. I guess it gives us all something to talk about.
That canāt be right. If it was the Brits, theyād add an unnecessary āuā or two. More like houme zounes
Rode by on my way home today. Iām not sure what the plan for this building is, but I guess it could be another restaurant. I donāt think there is actually any plans in the making for this building that Iām aware of.
Edit to add. I just realized itās pretty much the same shot as @Daniel above, except that itās dark.
I hope the city plans to make this street a rentable community space. It would be nice for there to be frequent events happening throughout the year to speed track the full-redesign progress. I could see weddings, family reunions, organization fairs, community engagement meetings, etc. being held here.
