Demonyms of Triangle municipalities

I’m not sure if I’ve ever run across a list of municipal demonyms, and I am not even sure of the official ones for each city, but I’m going to take a guess at them nonetheless. Correct me if I’m wrong and add to the list!
Raleighite
ITBer (subset of Raleigh)
Durhamite
Caryite
Chapel Hillian
Garnerite (though I’d really like it to be Garnerean for comedy’s sake)
Apexer
Morrisvillian
Wake Forester
Rolesvillian
Knightdaler
Wendellian
Holly Springer
Fuquay-Varinian (?)
Claytonite
Zebuloner
Lizard Licker (may be one of the best if true)
Hillsborougher (tongue twister)
Pittsboro? Maybe Boltmanlander?

Pittsboro and Chatham County is obviously utopia. We simply are Utopians.

Wake county residents can apply to be permanent residents as asylum seekers. Escaping the instability that is Glenwood South seems to be the most popular reason.

“Hillsborougher (tongue twister)”

In my accent Hillsborough and Hillsborougher both sound the same haha. Hillsbrrrrr.

Hills-burrower. Like someone who burrows into hills. Essentially a hobbit.

I think everyone on this board qualify as Ralieghistas.

I honestly think the demonym for Raleigh could be so much better. Raleighite doesn’t roll off the tongue for me and sounds more like a mineral than a person.

What about Raleighoid?

That sounds like something you need to get a medicated cream to treat.

That’s what I’m going for.

Growing up here, we always said Apecker…

Could be pronounced like “Henry Rollins” or as in Aliens”

I’ve been trying to come up with a Raëlians joke but couldn’t figure it out.

I’m Apecker, you’re Apecker, he’s Apecker, she’s Apecker, wouldn’t you like to be Apecker too? :notes:
