Next for Raleigh? I think Gotcha has something like this in other cities.

Looks like we’ll be seeing Lime back in Raleigh. Let me know if you see any around town!

This is fantastic news coming at just the right time with public opinion turning towards going out again. The Gotcha brand replacement was nowhere near adequate enough and was filled with empty promises of 3-wheeled trikes and golf-cart like rentals.
I honestly can’t wait, and although my wife makes fun of how I’ve spent more money on rentals then just purchasing my own scooter, I really like these scooters.

Technically Gotcha will still be around because Bolt bought them out and Bolt was one of the 3 companies the city signed on with (other two are Lime and Spin). Not really that excited about Bolt but Lime has really matured since they launched in Raleigh a few years ago out of the blue.

They’re baaaack!!!
Or in this case, leftover. :kick_scooter:

Apparently, they’re not supposed to be back until May…??

Then I’m starting a business with this one until then.

But your business is just going to have one wheel.

At least Limes have dropped. There should be 2 more coming as well.
Let’s :kick_scooter:!

I almost wrecked on the way to work with excitement after seeing them. I saw them scattered all over the neighborhood sidewalks which is really good to see considering the small service area Gotcha covered.

Just in time for summer!!

A bunch lined up all over Glenwood and practically everywhere else.

I knew Bolt had acquired Gotcha, but I expected to see the Bolt-branded scooters (like in Durham) instead of Gotcha-branded ones. I’m okay with that, though… the Bolt-branded ones look super bulky and weird.

Edit: image stolen from Bolt’s Facebook page, for those who don’t know what I mean. The teal ones in @JKK’s photo are the Gotcha-branded scooters.

They have silver Birds in San Diego. I’ll grab a pic soon.

Raleigh really needs to ramp up the construction of bike lanes in heavily populated areas of town with all of these scooter companies returning.
