Fayetteville Street Developments and Vitality

I think we just have to face it that since none of major construction projects (32 story office tower, Salisbury Square, Nexus) have materialize in the Fayetteville District that this area of Downtown will struggle for the next 10 years at least.

The only project even remotely benefiting Fayetteville District the the Acorn Apartments and the Mira Apartment but since Salisbury Square is on hold it’s basically a car-oriented suburban apartment until the rest of that project develops.

East downtown is trendy now and so is the Warehouse District but the lack of real investment from private developers and the city is really letting down this district and essential all of downtown as a whole.
