Flowers of Raleigh

I think this sunflower garden Raleigh has every year in Dix Park is fantastic. I have tried to get someone to do this in Charlotte. We have acres of vacant land uptown that could easily be turned into a huge field temporarily. How long do they last? I might try to come up in about 2 weeks or so?

They aren’t full bloom yet. Some rows aren’t bloomed at all. You should be good for a while.
The bees are going to town.

Yay! This is always one of my favorite events of the year. I’m very excited to go see this year’s.

Are these from last year? Last year’s crop was shorter than this year’s.

2021-2024. I could not get the kids to pose for pictures last year, but I got some of the flowers.

We all got too cool to take pictures for mom and dad at some point. RIP!!! Good luck this time around- maybe some time at the Gipson Play Plaza will help you negotiate better now.
