I talked to some staff about the tunnel project at the downtown mobility open house the other week. One guy gave a 
kind of look when I asked if it was still happening, but admitted that he wasn’t really involved with the project. He sent me to another guy who said it is absolutely still a priority for the city, but they’re kind of at the whim of the other partners on this project (RR and NCDOT).
