Someone flagged my comment and a “Staff” member opted to “remove it” so now it appears you’re responding to nobody. Pretty unclear what, exactly, I said that was offensive, hateful, etc to anyone in this forum. As for the mentions of NC ranking high for business, but low for workers - that’s simply factual information that can be easily verified. The obvious Conservative slant of “Staff” has been duly noted.

I’m glad that some people don’t take everything so seriously online but I’m actually trying to respond a bit to some outside feedback that this forum trends very negative. I’d like to start with the personal attacks on people, yes even elected officials, so going forward we don’t need that here anymore. I feel this is pretty reasonable and we can still keep the sarcasm relatively high, which I personally love by the way.

I think the day has finally come where the retort plugin (the expanded emoji plugin that is not maintained) finally broke the site after today’s upgrade. It had a good run but I’m honestly tired of dealing with it. I can add more options to the existing reactions so I’ll pick some of my favorites and most common ones I’ve seen over the years.

On this site, as well as in downtown Raleigh. No change ever. Just the status quo. 
I like the confetti pinata thingy, or maybe something like fireworks, for when I well pleased indeed.
