Hard to be positive while still mourning the loss of the emoji reactions. ![]()
Thank you for the heads up!
Does this mean that the site will not be available during this time period?
Should be down for only about 15 min.
Is it possible to get the thumbs down emoji reaction back? There are some really bad comments that need a down vote. The “why” is because people will think distasteful comments have universal support if the only reactions are positive because they’re the only options. I’m using the question mark in its place right now.
We use the grumpy cat emoji around here for a down vote. ![]()
I’m sorry you miss thumbs downing all my posts.
A splendid and huge Happy Birthday to this forum!!! The Community is now 7-years-old. ![]()
It’s been quite fun to host this thing and we have a solid group of regulars now. Newcomers have joined here and there and if that includes you, Welcome! For the regulars, thanks for sticking with us. ![]()
This is also my one yearly ask for any contributions. If you feel like giving back and supporting, I’ve now set up a way to buy me a coffee, which you can do at the link below. Venmo and paypal are still a thing as well.

yes, I get that too.
Well that’s new. I’ll have to take a look and fix that. ![]()
This is fixed. Thanks for bringing it to the attention of the management.
Hey @dtraleigh - just noticed the emoji options are no longer available. I do like the feature of showing who liked below, but now we can only
.
Let’s see if Sunday morning’s update fixes it. If not, I’m canceling all my plans (I have none) to get those reactions up and running. ![]()
This is fixed and I know why. Hope it sticks this time.
Discourse made the reactions plug as part of the core package. I hope this means that they like it a lot and they will work to enhance it. ![]()
Thank you Leo!
