There’s a lot to get out of this forum but if you do still follow the blog, I’m almost done with my own email newsletter feature. This is my attempt to bring back an email sent to subscribers every time there is a new post. I’m looking for a small group of “early adopters” that can sign up and just report any issues they see in a private chat we’ll have.
Even if you aren’t interested, I would appreciate the help. Just signing up for the newsletter and unsubscribing helps as I’d like to make sure the whole flow of the app works with some people.

I am not exactly sure that I follow what you are trying to do. I’d be glad to talk to you about it if you want to do that.
When a new post hits the blog, you’ll get an email. I used to have this in place years ago and am bringing it back.
Since I built it myself, I need to test it.

I can confirm that the RSS feed still works and I’m too old to understand why that medium has mostly been replaced by email newsletters!

I was hoping Leo could figure out a way to integrate with my NextDoor feed. I can attest that their email functionality works…

Happy Birthday!!! The Community is now 8-years-old. How are you celebrating? 
I actually completely forgot about it, was out with regulars on the photo walk yesterday, and didn’t even mention it. (thank you for yearly reminders) Anyway, no reflective thoughts from me right now. The discussions have been going pretty well, I think, and the photos you all contribute really turn this into a great space. Thanks for being here!

I’m a little slow. Mine is later this month I believe.
FYI. Tomorrow, Sunday, I plan to do some tinkering with the site. It may go down for some time but if it works well, it should only be for a few minutes. If it goes badly, well, it’ll be longer than that.
