WE’RE BACK!
It has been an interesting three months. It hasn’t been without its hardships and we need to thank all of you amazing folks who supported us throughout the lockdown, whether that was through Curbside Pickup orders, gift card purchases, or just calling to check in on us. Your love provided us the strength and confidence we needed to keep going.

We are proud to announce our grand reopening on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 am.

You read that right! In addition to the Brunch and Dinner you know and love, Plates is now Glenwood South’s neighborhood specialty coffee shop! We will be serving Espresso, Lattes, Cappuccinos, Pour Overs, Hot Tea, and more alongside Chef David Mitchell’s new grab 'n go Breakfast Menu .

Visit us at plateskitchen.com to check out this and the rest of Chef David’s new summer menus.

New Hours of Operation (modified/temp):

They go on to say:

We recognize that everyone is still on high-alert because of COVID-19 and we want to take this opportunity to assure you that Plates Neighborhood Kitchen ownership and management are fully committed to the happiness and safety of our team and guests. We are strictly adhering to the new social distancing requirements for seating capacity, making sure our staff members are wearing masks at all times, and sanitizing all tableware, surfaces and common areas even more frequently than recommended. Plates Neighborhood Kitchen has always taken pride in exceeding these recommendations, and we want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to keep each other safe.

In addition to our sanitation measures, every Plates team member has passed the Count On Me NC safety certification test developed by the NCDHHS in conjunction with Phase 2 of the Governor’s reopening plan. Wellness checks are performed at the beginning of each shift and any team member who is not feeling well is not permitted to work in any capacity and will not be at the restaurant at any time. We will do everything in our power to make sure our employees are compensated for any time missed due to illness during the duration of this pandemic.

We understand that this is a time of uncertainty, but want to assure you that Plates Neighborhood Kitchen is a safe place where you can come and enjoy time with friends, co-workers, and family.

If you are uncomfortable with being out in public during this time, know that our popular Curbside Pickup service will remain a key part of the Plates Kitchen experience! You can place and pay for your order online at plateskitchen.com on your mobile device or computer, all from the comfort of your own home.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we roll out some other exciting ideas that we have been working on during the lockdown, including Inside-the-Beltline delivery ! If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us at info@plateskitchen.com.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back into our home! We missed y’all.
