Hiwire has five locations in NC currently and is opening a sixth in Charlotte. Three in Asheville, one in Durham, one in Wilmington.

My fiancée and I are both that guy (well she’s a girl). We’ve had some great inside tour experiences from that kind of thing. Come to a meetup and bring her (or him) and we’ll try to make a conversion into weirdos like us.

Around June of this year. I’m really looking forward to taking the boat straight to their dock then having a couple beers. Although I’m not completely wild over their beer, there’s a couple I like, but several I can’t even drink.

impressive two story on a desired corner lot, spacious kitchen and plenty of room for entertaining guests.
Not sure how no one’s mentioned this yet, but Hightop Burger is getting replaced with a modern Puerto Rican restaurant, Bendito. Opening this Friday I believe.

Well damn, I had meant to try Hightop Burger as I heard some GREAT things. Doesn’t look like they’re relocating, just closed for good. Missed it!
Hightop ‘might come back in another spot’, according to the March article from the bizjournal.

I stopped by there this past Saturday. The guy putting the picnic tables together said they were targeting May 15 for opening.

I’ve seen some negative reviews on there but have had good experiences myself.
I’ve been to High Top a few times. Twice to eat there and the third was order out to take to House of Hops. I liked it because the prices were decent. The employee that helped us out was really nice. Was a place I was planning on going to more often.

Brightspot Donuts seems to be soft opened now. Photos of them look pretty dang good, gonna have check them out.

Just got this info from The Line about Milklab in Smoky Hollow:
“Just a quick email to let you know that Milklab will be starting constrution today(!!!) That being said, they will be cutting concrete/jack hammering inside the space until around 5pm today. You may hear some residual noise.”

Finally. I think only that Yoga place has been open of all the retail spots. A little awkward when the Night Market in a shop-less plaza.
