I guess El Toro Loco isn’t dead? Walked by today and heard work going on inside, and they had a bunch of current work permits taped up in the window.
when i said difficulties, i meant , that for me i dont like parking in decks and navigating through them…i didnt know if this was a hindrance for potential bbq purchasers having to use a deck to park, walk to restratunt, pick up the food and walk back up 2 levels to drive back home…i guess this is if there isnt sufficient downtown walkins to support whats needed to smoke a lot of pork and sell it.

Seems like changes may be coming for Sosta. Theres a thread over on raleigh reddit. Claims Jerome (owner/operator) is retiring and tomorrow is his last day. Comments from folks who work at Red Hat suggest the business has been sold and will live on. I hope they dont change anything, best sandwiches around.
Just ate there today and people were congratulating him. Sandwich was, of course, on point as always.
Little City Brewing shutting down in February, replaced by an upscaled restaurant: Flour & Barrel.
" The new concept will lean heavily on rustic Italian small plates highlighting flour-based dishes—think focaccia sandwiches and deconstructed lasagna, plus different types of meatballs and chicken dishes, with ingredients repeated throughout to create a zero-waste kitchen. And for those who get hungry in the after-hours, a late-night menu will serve up pizzas, sandwiches and more after 9pm (!)."
