Lovely, with extra characters!
Nice. I’m a little skeptical that this place will do well though, just because of it’s somewhat isolated location. I hope I’m wrong!
My wife is doing the interior upfit. Lots of small details the owner and chef are putting into the whole experience. Should be good
I share that same concern. If that project had taken off, I think it’d be ok. But it’s this isolated single office building (likely fairly empty) surround by a sea of parking lots, and not on a main road. I hope it works out tho too.
Anyways, less isolated, but still a location I never think about:
Pretty sure the Lifetime Fitness + Living apartment tower is still in the pipeline, at very least.
True. If they can hold out for 3 more years, they’ll have quite the customer base. ![]()
Well, Raleigh residents have already proven that they are always willing to get in their cars and park for free. So…
I wouldn’t worry about its success if it’s high quality.
The restaurant owner is onsite at the project nearly every day, he intends to match his concept!
Like he’s gonna dress in a bird suit?
Charlotte Business Journal is reporting today that that one floor of the Belks at Triangle Town Center will become a Belk Outlet store just like they did as Northlake Mall in Charlotte.
“Both sites build on existing two-floor Belk locations. Plans call for the ground level to be converted into outlet space. Traditional Belk stores will continue to operate on the second level. A spring opening is targeted for both outlet stores.” (another site was announced at Gastonia’s Eastridge Mall)
I have been to the new Belk Outlet at Northlake Mall and it is basically like a TJ Maxx or Marshalls in terms of pricing. Basically stuff they could not sell at full price or late in the season type clothing. I liked it and they had it totally separated from the main line Belk store. The escalators were closed off so the only way you could get to the outlet was from a mall entrance or from an exterior entrance. Photos from Charlotte.
Return of the bargain basement that I used to shop at on Fayetteville St. back in the day!
I love their slogan shown on the window. ![]()
I hope they don’t cave to complaints. Five star used to sell their “Hide your cats” T-shirts but there were Karen’s. They still have “Hide Your Cats” painted inside, though.
OK this is stupid though hahaha
I love(d) that about Five Star.
They will probably do the same at TTC Mall as they want the stores to be separate just using the same overall building.
It’s prob because each store is going to have its own inventory and they do not want customers to mix them when checking out.
Oh yeah I mean, I get it. But that picture that was shared of what the escalators look like covered up… so stupid hahah. Just remove them, what the hell ![]()
That’s a lot of money to spend, and you’re reducing the value of your property doing it.
Oh YEAH? Well! Well… I just don’t like it, ok???
I’m honestly surprised to hear Belks is still in business. I figured they would have gone the way of other mall anchor tenants - Sears, JCPenny, etc.
Who still shops at Belks? I don’t think I’ve set foot inside one in 20 years.
