Let’s hope that the grand opening isn’t iced out!

Love what they did with the exterior

Not sure I need more chicken finger options, but I appreciate the contribution to Raleigh’s unofficial neon motif and hope it spurs more.

Would you like your US Foods/Sysco frozen microwaved chicken tenders from this place for $16.99, or would you like your US Foods/Sysco frozen microwaved chicken tenders from that place for $16.99???

come on jake. it’s pretty well established that cane’s has their own distinct recipe that a lot of people are fans of.

Last time I went there in Miami Beach, it was like $11.99, not $16.99. It’s actually a pretty good meal for the price these days. I promise you that it will be wildly successful.

lol - for their batter and sauces, sure. Still all US Foods/Sysco.

Yes, the exterior looks grand, doesn’t it!

i’ll bite. one proof, please.

all i can find online is that they’ve been fresh at least in relatively recent memory, and cane’s website touts a food prep that doesn’t say anything about fresh never frozen, but does say dipped and fried to order, no heat lamps, no microwaves.

you’re digging on a restaurant that hasn’t even opened yet presumably because it’s a chain. give the place a chance instead of turning people off to it. that’s just not helpful.

i’ve had canes once, so don’t accuse me of being a stan. otherwise i’d share more anecdotal evidence.

To be clear I love chicken fingers, regardless of sourcing, it’s just that I’m already kinda drowning in them (especially since having a kid; every kids menu is basically just chicken fingers). I’m sure they’ll do great and when the mundanity of this particular dish wears off next maybe I’ll give them a try, as I’ve somehow escaped doing that so far.

This is the menu for Raising Cane’s in South Beach. I’ll be interested to learn if it’s the same or different in Raleigh. The 3 finger combo is enough food for many people.

This is one of the first new mainstream fast food places on Hillsborough St. in a while. I predict it will be very popular with students; simple and consistent.

Maybe ours will offer a Hockey Plush Puppy instead of a Bobsled version.

Disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about Raising Canes and will probably never go, but I love the idea of a stuffed animal on the menu. Lol. Feed that inner child!

I don’t get the hype. Another fast food chain. This whole area needs to learn how to eat better

The next meetup is here so problem solved.

This is better… better fast food. Chicken tenders are the food of the gods.

Or small children whose parents don’t teach them to eat more things.
