I don’t know if anyone has been to Poolside Pies but they have some of the best sodas here. They are handmade right there and are amazing. The citrus one tastes exactly like key lime pie, I recommend if you go.

Looks like Irregardless will change hands after all. WRAL says David Meeker from Trophy brewing has purchased the building. No word on any changes if any the report says.

Yes. It’s still there but seems it’ll be going away or moved. Not exactly sure but when we asked they said Runologie would be on that wall.

Looks like Gypsy Jule has moved from the L on Davie St to a temporary location near Madabolic and Mad Ethel’s on Dawson. They haven’t really provided much detail, but I’m hoping they’ll be moving to one of the spaces by Fiction Kitchen that are currently under renovation.
Mad Ethel moved to Person Street btw. And the El and this strip on Dawson are both Empire, so your thought makes a lot of sense.
That’s at least cool that Empire (seems to) work with their tenants when they’re forced to relocate.
Really hoping Standard Beer + Food has affordable options. This neighborhood NEEDS something other than the Station for some $10 dinner options. Don’t get me wrong, I love having Crawford and Jolie in the hood, but they really are more of a special occasion spot for most people.
