Don’t you mean Gen Z?

Gen Zs are said to hate human interaction so I wasn’t sure how they fit into these preferences lol

Crooked Hammock just opened up for you…

I think there are far more bars, burgers and food joints around downtown, than gyms/wellness…

… So, I think the red meat, cheese, beer and sitting crowd is set with businesses focused on them.

Sorry if this was shared already. But it looked like Sunflower’s Cafe is officially open as of earlier this week

I went Friday with a group. It was good. The service was a little off which was to be expected honestly. But they were really trying so I give them a B+ for the visit.

Anyone know what’s going on in the (fka) Wells Fargo tower ground floor along Hargett St?? I noticed saturday that the whole half of the ground floor space facing Hargett is currently gutted and under some pretty extensive renovations - are they converting it to more retail/restaurant space??? :crossed_fingers:

It’s up-fitting the office amenity space. Folks here already complained that it’s not retail and not for the public. But I’m in favor of improvements that keep the building competitive and leased up. It’s a bar/lounge concept for corporate events if I recall correctly. Details are here somewhere.

Raleigh Magazine reported the station will become Cora from Mr Burro food trucks in May. “At Cora, Frey will pay homage to her Honduran and Thai roots through heavily influenced breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner selects, layered with global influences from her travels—especially Spain. Think chilaquiles, chicken tortilla soup, sandwiches, croquetas, ceviche, mussels, tostadas and other tapas-style small plates”

Glad to see this space getting utlized. I love the outdoor atmosphere, but the whole place had taken on this we-don’t-care-anymore vibe. Can’t wait to check it out.

Honduran-Thai is not a fusion I’ve seen before on the culinary scene, and I’m here for it!

You can say that again - last few times I’d eaten there (hey, at least it was open LATE NITE) I’d be like one of 3 total people there but it took fooooooorrrrrrrrrrreeeeevvvvvvverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to get my damn food. Like who else y’all got to cook for??? I’m the only one here!!!

 I hope they stay open late-ish. It’s a nice spot for a post dinner or post theater drink.

Somehow I completely missed that The Station had closed but wow—that does sound like an interesting concept!
