TBJ reporting Qdoba and Beignets & Brew opening alongside Rally House on Hillsborough. IMO city plat crushed the tenet mix here. Idk why it took so long to lease up but these should last a long time and not be revolving doors.

The parking situation IS ass… you have to get your parking validated otherwise get a parking ticket… in a damn surface lot right in front of the building. Probably because the lot is super small, as the rest of the plot is a pit of waste and despair. Would be crazy if they, I don’t know, finished the god damn development which included a GIANT PARKING DECK that would certainly fit any and everyone who wanted to park here to patronize these businesses.

Agreed. The parking sucks there and the graffiti pit makes it feel pretty un fancy for trying to be a fancy little strip. I’m sad about GEM, which I thought was a cool little spot, and the fact they just abandoned it entirely. As I recall, Georgios has a short lived sushi place here that closed before I could even try it. Not sure how Mexican fusion sushi like the overpriced, poorly staffed, and inconsistent offering Yatai is going to make it. Wishing them well I guess, but also definitely would like to see this whole project get finished. This is what I hate phased projects.

Really? Well isn’t that something?! I know they have at least the Durham location besides that weird outpost John mentioned that seems set up for crappy kids’ birthday parties.
Maybe Napper Tandy’s and Natty Greene’s can come back. Just visited them in Greensboro a few weeks ago. Thought they had closed completely.
