Goodnight Raleigh (Again!)

With the end of Goodnight Raleigh around 2018, I thought it would be a great idea to revive it in a new format through the DTRaleigh Community! By sharing photos of Raleigh at night along with stories behind these images, we can capture the essence of our city through its nocturnal scenes. From deserted streets to bustling bars, this can be a space to showcase Raleigh during its nighttime slumber!

I would love to, but I’m currently in college at App State and forgot to bring my camera up with the photos that I would use….. :sob:

Alrighty I did find one photo from 2019 of Raleigh, I beleivebi took this because the new train station opened up and I was really really interested in it! Especially the fact that we would have two tracks one outbouand and one inbound! This is a daytime photo, however I believe somewhere on my camera are my nighttime photos!

Here’s one I took. I forget the details. It was either at night or on the winter solstice in the shadow of a skyscraper.

I may be mistaken, but was this photo taken when the RBC still held over the PNC building?

This must have been on Fayetteville street at any given time of day with those grotesque sky scrapers.

I like this threat idea, though I’m going to have to dig back through my photos to participate. Give me moment.
