Maeve Apartments - 320 W. South Street

This is a great project. I see it multiple times a week driving in on Saunders/McDowell. It makes a real impact on the skyline already and will bring a lot of new residents.

I feel like they’re freezing time to work on this. Every day it’s like there’s been 1 or 2 more levels completed!!!

They’ve been working on starting level 15 for like days and I hate it. Go faster! I’ve been conditioned now…

Edit: Well I guess they’ve started it on the left side actually. Just in the time it took for me to type this post!

15 on the right in this picture, directly behind the crane and 16 on the left…

Great picture, thank you!

Nope, 14 stories on the right and 15 on the left. :upside_down_face:

Not according to the zoning that was approved lol. 20 stories counts this as one. It’s a double height ground floor. I’ll take the extra height squeezed in tho!

This bunch is not fooling around.
I wonder if the insides will go just as quickly.

This is by far the fastest building ever built downtown. If only these guys built everything around here. I honestly wonder if they will finish before the Tempo/Hilton Home Suites Hotel.

They’ll probably finish before the Peace St condo project too!

Who is the builder for this project?

I think their construction schedule seems normal, they are using techniques for high rise construction that you normally would see as well. The race is to get to the top and get the building completely dry-in. The real work happens inside of the building and most of the interior materials have a longer lead time which can jeopardize your construction schedule.
