I had someone say that to me at my NBHS reunion. Granted, this person is in the home they bought about 1995, so yeah. I just smiled and nodded.

I don’t know, that would be a cool, special attraction for Raleigh, especially floating on one of our lakes.

Wow, doing a second coat now. Following their progress is literally as exciting as watching paint dry!

Have they top out yet

If you build it, they will come.
Edit, I’m pretty sure I stole this pic from another thread on here a while back. Sorry to the OP for stealing your stuff. :upside_down_face:

This is what Raleigh would look like today if it wasnt for all the NIMBYs.

Not sure if this is related to Capital Square (or one of several other projects being built), but there are a lot of prefab parking deck parts being staged at the large lot off of 54 east of Edwards Mill in West Raleigh. (google map pic is old, but this is the lot)

Good eye.
Forgot to report this, and didn’t take a photo, so doesn’t matter much…

But the other night I saw one of the prefab wall systems on a flat bed for this building bottomed out on the railroad tracks at Lake Wheeler Rd. by Maywood. There was an ambulance on standby, I guess in case a train came and they couldn’t clear the tracks quick enough.

I’m guessing this is for the prefab sides being installed on the office building project further up Edwards Mill near Harris Teeter, but couldn’t say without seeing them. Someone go back and take a picture :joy:

Possibly, but I think that parking structure was built before the steel went up. There are 100% pieces of parking deck in addition to wall sections being staged.

Cringe. You really gotta think before you post.

You’re correct about the parking structure. I’m wrong then. Maybe Bandwidth is building a second deck on the rest of their land by the road… :crossed_fingers:

Oh my… let’s hope not. The one they already have could hold half the cars in Raleigh

Maybe this will be an extension of the state owned RV/campground just north
