It says “One tall, new building surrounded by typical downtown Raleigh charm.”

This is but a mere sign of life to come. Much of that nearby “charm” is going the way of the transistor radio. And I can’t wait. I prefer to look at this building as the beginning of things to come in the Wild West End of Downtown Raleigh.

The abomination in the left foreground can’t be redeveloped fast enough.

And get rid of all that “charm”? How dare you! :kissing_heart:

Ok so who wants to tour these apartments when they open, and get to step out on that rooftop area?

View from the Willard. Really lazy cocktails here btw. Cocktails that shouldn’t be in a highball are in a high ball.

Yeah … Problem with rooftop bars is they are typically corporate run. There is no person with passion unless they get lucky and find a killer bar manager or bar tender. From the outside looking in, it seems these places have a hard time keeping talented staff happy and rooted.

Wine and beer it is. Nice view!

Really starting to have that big deck energy…

I hope both the storage facility and capital square owner wall off the alleyway connecting the two properties. If they don’t they may have homeless people lingering there.

That’s where they’re relocating the residents of Heritage Park during the upgrades…
