October is gonna be a birthday bash for Leo. It’s a surprise. Shh don’t tell him.
Heading out around 5:30 by foot. I should be there around 6.
Heading there around 5:30 by car. Should be there about 5:33
Been here for 10 minutes. We’re out back.
I couldn’t come no transportation.
Should’ve taken the commuter rail, light rail, BRT, subway, or Tesla tube…
Hyperloop. I’m still on my way…
Can’t remember if I posted this one in here, but due to the impending tropical storm, I’m postponing Community Office Hours to next weekend, September 30, instead.
Hello sir is their possible way Omni can taller like 38 39 stories taller convention
Also can we get a river in Raleigh? It would be great for water front bars and stuff!
I want a real, honest to goodness, mountain. When can get one of those?
Hey all! I wanted to drop in and plug Oaks and Spokes’ annual fundraiser, Crank for a Cause, happening on 10/8. Would be great to see a lot of the DTR community there - it’s basically a ride around central Raleigh with stops at Crank Arm, Trophy (on Maywood), and Raleigh Brewing. Register here and buy raffle tickets ($25 donation each) here. Thanks and look forward to seeing folks out there!
October meetup is out! We’re going back to a local favorite at State of Beer. There may be treats at this one. (no tricks)
darn it! I have a day business trip to Atlanta and will miss this!
I wanted to drop an invite to another Oaks & Spokes event coming up soon. We are hosting an Alley Cat, an urban scavenger hunt on your bike, Saturday October 7 at 5pm in the Five Points neighborhood. It will be a fun way to explore the neighborhood while supporting Oaks & Spokes’ advocacy efforts for improved cyclist and pedestrian infrastructure!
Today, I placed an order for a ton of cookies for this extra special meetup. I’m hoping we get a good crowd so you can help me eat these.
A little birdie told me you might be having a special guest to help you with that…
Beers and cookies is later today! I’m so excited, you have no idea.
Great turnout last night, perfect weather, and a good use of a parklet. Thanks to Leo for the cookies. I ate so many I forgot to have dinner. Nice to see everyone who could make it!
