I was 923. 20 characters.
I was 929 - almost there!
Itās over 1000 now. I was 1030 something.
1171 and countingā¦
I signed. It is over 1200.
This is getting interesting, says a rally will be held at noon today to protest the removal.
Petition is at 1,500 and climbing.
I was just coming to post this. Great to see people rallying around a small thing that is an improvement to the city!
Anyone attend the rally? Iād like to know how that went.
I love Raleighites are rallying in support of fancy trash cans!!!
This is the closest I got to it:
Meaning I saw it on Instagram.
I saw Andrea interviewing that guy when I walked by. Maybe 20 people out there.
Well, 1 person complained and 20 countered it. If I were the council, Iād look at that ratio and not ignore them.
The petition is still racking up signatures. Itās running like a birth clock. As of now, itās at 1659 with the last two signers having signed 6 and 4 minutes ago.
1779 signatures as of now.
Apparently the city dropped off a bunch of the old trash cans to the spot this morning
@dtraleigh, slip in a comment at the Kane public hearing about how the city shouldnāt ignore 1700 voices vs one complaint for the molok project!
Clearly this pilot test was a great use of our tax dollars. GRRRR
If this was merely a test, maybe it could have been done on NC Stateās campus where NIMBYās wouldnāt have been an issue.
This just happened:
Those people are my heroes
Thereās someone with a sign to keep the containers here at the meeting. Waiting for a good opportunity to get a photo.
