No problem! Lol I was thinking the same thing. That one should come with an extra security deposit

Clearly some additional vetting is in order!

I wonder if at least some percentage of the population might actually prefer the balcony behind the sign - it provides a bit of extra noise insulation and privacy. Not saying that most people would prefer it, but likely more than none.

I think the the Bulldozer sign is going on the roof, I think, it’s current location blocking the window is a temporary location lol.

Well looks like from their promotional materials the big yellow tractor is staying at second floor level. Lobby does not look like two story, other then drop down from entrance, so guess 2nd floor apartment will get to look at yellow wall.

You will have a very private balcony. It seems a very strange placement.

My thoughts as well I would have thought it would be on top of the rounded corner section. (east end of building) .

That would make a much larger statement on the street for sure. And would’ve saved that balcony. Surely they can’t command the same price for that apartment. I mean, unless you want a closed off balcony, lol.

I walked pass this place last Sunday. So much density it reminds me of Smoky Hollow in a way.

BTW, really good boba place in Stanhope apartment complex. Forgot the name of the place but there’s two ‘tea’ shops in the complex since I guess Wolfpackers love tea.

Ugh so much tan and beige and brick though. Density yes, diversity not so much. At least happy for the ground floor activation. As for the Boba place - is it authentic or powder made? I’ve been loving Budacai’s boba tea, but always down to try new ones!

Hmm I’m not sure how authentic it is but I had the purple taro tea with little sugar (25%) and it was very good. But I walked from East Downtown Raleigh to Stanhope so I was very thirsty from the walk.

It’s the good stuff – claims to be authentic Taiwanese style, but I’ve never been to Taiwan so I’m not the best judge. It’s great quality, in any case. The place is Cha House, and the original one is on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill.

Well awesome!! I will have to try soon. My gf has been on the Budacai kick lately so she will be excited to try another authentic boba tea shop. Thanks for the recommendation @Francisco !

I mean, the real texture was in the 1936 industrial building that had already been renovated into Class A office space, but hey, if local economics are so absurd as to be able to support demolition of that sort of thing, then I guess we gotta be happy with the scraps the people holding the purse strings throw us.

Hateful is the word that comes to mind. A dearth of charm and beauty. Junk.
