Rent is only $14,566 per month!
If a beer is $6 with $5 of that profit, that’s just over 2900 beers to pour a month and that’s assuming the staff is volunteer, Duke is donating the power and all other expenses aren’t considered. ![]()
You’re living in 2016. Beers are 9 bucks for 14oz pints now + 3% card fee + 8% tax + 22/25/28% tip on top of the total, plus round up for charity.
To coin a new campaign phrase “The beer is to damn high!!”
Ok, so you’ll be able to pay rent selling 100 beers. ![]()

Too bad you aren’t here to help them out on that… ![]()
I took a peek inside this weekend because it appears something was stirring inside the building. No signs of the previous beer taps? The bar remains. I am wondering if other plans may be in the works??? Anyone heard anything??
Report from a neighbor who spoke to someone onsite- the establishment has indeed changed hands. Same concept of a brewery and outside food trucks. The name however is a bit baffling as are many of the things in the Wild West End. It will be called Ole’.
EDIT 10/6/25 New report from onsite worker - they will be open within the next month. Things seem to being picking up steam over there. So we shall see. It would be nice to have that corner activated given that the Witch and the Rider will be closing. We need some other hang out places in the Warehouse District.
Live in the condo’s across the street from here. One of my neighbors received an update yesterday. This will be a sports bar w/beer on tap and cocktails! Food trucks, as previsouly mentioned. Shooting to be open in 2-3 weeks.
great update. Thank you!
Wow! Awesome news… Any idea the name?
I’m voting for Cell-tzers
I believe someone earlier mentioned it will be called Ole’. Confirmed.
That fits fabulously with the “Wild West End” we (I’m using we extremely liberally as it might just be me
) are trying to have catch on. West End just doesn’t feel like it has enough pizazz.
Yeah. But I am feeling the energy in the air. Give it another 18-24 months and then come back to see me. I am betting the vibe is gonna be there.
One of my buddy’s walked by yesterday and saw one of the tv’s on!
The paper covering the windows was removed today. Will try to get a peak in sometime in the next day or two.
TBJ has an article. November opening. 9K sq ft (HUGE). Lots of TVs including 2 100” TVs. permanent taco truck outside. Plans to add turf, seating and space for more visiting food trucks.
Finally a place that will actually cater to rotating food trucks providing the food and atmosphere. I’d 1000% rather try food from a food truck at a place like this on a random Saturday vs torturing myself at a Food Truck Rodeo downtown lol
Anyone else ever feel like food truck prices are higher than the equivalent restaurant?
