Peace Street Condos

You’ll be my neighbor! The Paramount didn’t take that long to build and it’s bigger with more stuff in it.

Umm, I was told the project is on hold until October, but that was late last year when the GC informed us. I suppose that could have changed, but I haven’t heard anything.

People were there working on it today. I’ll be happy to see this one wrapped up. It’s going to be an awesome spot, @OtherJustin! Congratulations!

Excited for some wide sidewalks along this section!

is the deck underneath off Boylan? Good job hiding it if so

It’s in the back, entrance where those 2 yellow porta-potties are. I don’t think it’s more than 1 level.

At this point, I’d be happy to have ANY sidewalk back around this corner.

Is the parking deck gonna be the new porta potty? Asking for a friend

It’s not so much a parking deck as it is a partial ground floor for parking…I mean peeing.

Maybe this guy’s sibling is developing 615 Peace?

I walk by there all the time and have seen little movement, if any, over the past month.

Look, given all the fits and starts on this lot since like 2005 (Glen on Peace anyone?) I am just glad that absolutely anything at all has been built here, let alone a nearly finished building. Breaking a curse ain’t easy after all.

Given that it’s taken 25 years, 615 Peace isn’t all that different from Glen on Peace, except the former was 3 floors without any retail.

Glen on Peace was definitely planned as a 4 story building with ground floor retail. It was planned to have 18 units, though, instead of the 24 units in today’s version.

my memory fails me.
This design looks more permanent than 615 Peace.

IS IT JUST ME or this project taking forever!!! I go by here several times a week and this is the setup. No changes of any significance. I would think if I were waiting on one of these condos I would be pulling my hair out…

That scenario sounds strikingly familiar…

Ah, that explains the no hair.

It’s not just you, it’s been on-and-off stalled for its whole construction process - the builder’s financiers must be dying.
