If you could refresh my memory, how do you make it go to the newest imagery? Google Earth is still showing me the pre-301 Hillsborough snapshot as Google Maps.
If on desktop, click on the the clock in the middle of the top bar and make sure it’s dragged to “Mar 2022”
Just checked it, that’s an extensive update! The new imagery goes all the way out to Wendell and beyond. Gotta imagine Google Maps OG will be updating the peripheral areas of Raleigh soon enough. As for ITB and thereabouts, it seems like Google Maps only updates it when they have new 3d imagery to overlay? And that takes a while.
As North Hills keeps expanding this view will be even more epic. The Eastern looks very, very prominent from this angle for sure.
Great pic!
Random shots from daily walks.

Wait I’m confused…the City Gateway project is happening? Interesting as I thought this one was dead. I thought I remembered there was some legal stuff going on with Exploris too.
EDIT Not sure if someone else posted this earlier but the Loopnet for this project says 2023 delivery so

This was through the fence.
Color me shocked as someone none of the permit sleuths on this board saw anything about this one
Just the mid-rise apartment building on the south side of the site right now. Hasn’t been any update on the other parts.
They’re just pre-leasing. In life, you are either pre-leasing, leasing, or post-leasing. Only one of thise requires a building
So that’s different than the energy efficient building that’s been touted as the ‘City Gateway’ project from John’s picture on his walk right? Maybe I’m just forgetting how large that parcel of land is.
@Spero thanks for clarifying the stages of leasing. One could say two of these are looking for new leases on life too
thanks folks, all great shots! I am especially partial to @John’s last pic. I know that tower in the distance!
@John that last pic, you should send to WRAL. It’s awesome!!
Thank you. That’s kind of you to say. It was taken through a window actually.
