The good news is that the municipal building will sit 30 feet higher at its base than the Dillon. The bad news is that this building may appear shorter because it’s in the distance.
Depends on your perspective. Stand at the AT&T building and the municipal building will look GIGANTIC compared to the Dillon.
Better yet, stand on the very edge of the new building and look straight up.
Everything looks gigantic compared to a Dylan (Dillon?)
You should see me pole vault…
This is what we need. That gap between PNC and Wells Fargo is the main thing holding us back from having a real ‘skyline’ imo
Outstanding photos
Thank you
I love some of these fresh angles! The areal photog in me is a bit jealous but also so very appreciative! I particularly love the N West St. corridor track shots.
In one of the pics you can see the crane up for the city hall tower being built.
Great pics! I know we all love the signature towers that make a skyline look good in the distance, but IMO the rows of dense housing really give a place vibrancy and character. It is particularly nice when you have the dense rowhouses in the foreground and towers in the background.
I also like the one along the railroad tracks.
Thanks for posting!
Simply the best photo dump on this site in a long time. Nicely done!
Really nice density with single family homes. The maywood community has blossomed into a really cute neighborhood with kids playing in the narrow streets.
Not for everyone, but god, can we please just allow this in more places without having to break backs through a PD?
It took a while but that neighborhood has really filled in nicely.
Great angle to show how much this is going to start filling the biggest skyline gap in Raleigh
