I grabbed this view of the First Union Capitol Center, I mean the Wachovia Capitol Center, I mean the Wells Fargo Capitol Center from the crest of Crusader Dr. today on my daily walk. The building has its maximum prominence from this vantage point. You practically see the entire building!
By the position of the crane in front of it, this view will eventually be blocked by the RUSBus tower.

Fun fact, convention centers often double as airports in films/TV because they look similar and are much easier to film in.
