Pictures and Videos of Downtown Raleigh

Love the videos but can’t help but think sometimes as I’m listening that he sounds like a 45 on 33

I know he’ll come eventually – he’s expressed plenty of interest – but I almost hope it is after (1) the first BRT is complete and (2) the Lake Wheeler project is done, as these would be of great interest for a potential video IMO

Would make for a hell of a meetup guest.

I’d be like, sorry, who are you? And then proceed to talk about my random shit. He’d have a great time.

That would have to be 2-3 years from now.

Were you touring apts?
The City Tall and Mystery State Bldg will fill in the gap from this view.

Touring parking decks actually  Say what you want about them, they’re often great spots for pictures

I was waiting on @GucciLittlePig Rolls Royce driven tour through downtown Raleigh, I finally just started walking all over downtown myself. Yes up from the QC today and had to get an overview of downtown area from my favorite spot. And don’t worry I have a LOT more photos just no time right now to post them from all your favorite projects downtown.

Couple more miscellaneous downtown shots. On foot and at stoplights.

150 Fayetteville Street will always be my favorite skyscraper in Raleigh. It is a product of that early 90s post-modern era with gorgeous dark glass and granite accents. I seriously thing its massing and roof are the best in the city.

Well… it doesn’t have much competition LOL but I’d have to agree with you. Definitely the best of the Big 3.

I actually think that the former BB&T/Truist tower is far superior.

Impossible to picture Raleigh in my mind without it.

I would agree if they had actually built the crown

I hate that building. :seafoam_green:

Of course you do. I’d expect nothing less. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

The Dillon is one of my favorite buildings in Raleigh for many reasons. When I did a tour with a bunch of people from Charlotte who rode the train up we started there and they loved it! from last week.
